I have had this exact dream before, however this one had added on details. It began that me and a couple others landed on isla nublar, long after the first humans did. We were trying to find something that was lost the first time I was there, years ago (the first time I had this dream). It was a base with people, and we invaded it, trying to kill them so we could find what was lost. When we first entered there was a hotel pool and we fought the group of people. I went about the same fighting, until the escape from the previous time I had this dream. I had to climb on top of a washing machine, and then go up through a vent in the ceiling. This time, I was the only one to escape this way, the previous time everyone did. As everyone began to get into the creek that was outside the fort, I started to remember what we lost. A little boy named Shane, who was here since I last was, years ago. He killed another person on the island and tried to drown himself. We were not sure if he was still alive.
Dreams often reflect our internal emotions, conflicts, and memories, and can sometimes be a way for our subconscious to process experiences or fears. Your dream about returning to Isla Nublar and the repeated theme of searching for something lost can symbolize several things:
Revisiting the Past: The dream suggests a need to confront past experiences, memories, or unresolved issues. The island, reminiscent of danger and the unknown (similar to its depiction in "Jurassic Park"), may represent a part of your life that feels risky or unresolved.
Search for Identity or Resolution: The act of searching for something lost points to a quest for personal meaning or understanding. The lost boy, Shane, might symbolize a part of yourself or an aspect of your life that feels neglected or in need of attention. It could also represent someone you care about facing difficulties.
Isolation and Responsibility: The differing experiences between the two dreams—where previously everyone escaped, and this time you are alone—might indicate feelings of isolation or the heavy burden of responsibility. Perhaps you've experienced a shift in your life where you feel more alone in your struggles, or you feel as though others may not understand the urgency of finding resolution.
Fear and Violence: The conflict with others in your dream could reflect internal or external conflicts you're grappling with in waking life. This may manifest as feelings of aggression or fear of societal systems that seem hostile or threatening.
Symbolism of the Setting: Isla Nublar is a place of both wonder and danger, which might suggest that you are exploring the dualities in your life—seeking something profound but navigating through conflict and chaos.
Considering the emotional context of your life at this time, reflect on relationships, responsibilities, or insecurities that could resonate with the themes in your dream. Engaging with your feelings regarding Shane might be particularly significant as you evaluate what aspects of your life need nurturing or healing.
